How to activate your kii ID using a work ID

We can verify the employment status of most key workers in the following sectors using an image of a work ID:

Emergency Services

Registered Charity

Education

NHS & Healthcare

Postal Service

Social care

Government

Military

Simply upload an image of your work ID during registration and our image recognition software will review the ID against a database of verified identification documents. If your ID is recognised, your membership will be instantly verified and confirmed.

If the platform does not recognise your ID (this could be due to image quality or a new ID format being used), it will pass through to the kii Customer Team to be manually reviewed. A manual review can take up to 72 hours but we will always aim to review applications as quickly as possible. You will receive an email to confirm the outcome of the review.

In line with our Privacy Policy, we keep your personal information only for as long as we need to. The image of your work ID will be held on our system in order to process your membership and deleted 3 days after your application has been accepted or denied.

We may upload elements of your work ID to our secure image recognition engine to help verify future members with a similar ID. Elements we might use include the logo, distinguishing features and graphical format of the ID document, we will never upload your Personal Identifiable Information (PII).

If we suspect the image of your ID is being used to fraudulently register an account, we retain the right to securely store a copy of the image to support anti-fraud checks and any relevant legal proceedings.

If you do not have a work ID, you can verify your employment status using your work email.
